The Special Needs Ministry of St. Mary's Parish in Pompton Lakes is launching a new program for youth 14 to 20 years old. Starting on Thursday, September 11, this social group will enjoy games, creative activities and the opportunity to meet new friends. Join us on Wednesday September 10th in supporting the Butler/Kinnelon Veterans Wreaths group at Tastefully British. Large Fish or Chicken Dinners are available from 4 – 8PM, 163 Union Ave Bloomingdale NJ. Please support this worthy event.

All women of the parish are invited to assist in planning the Ladies Guild upcoming activities. Check the Bulletin for details about the Annual Wreath Sale, The Giving Tree Project and Immaculate Conception Reception. Our next meeting is Monday, September 15th at 1:00 pm in the Church Ryan Room.

The Annual OLM Christmas Concert is quickly approaching on December 14th! This year, we recognized the need to restyle the concert due to continued price increases. The concert committee is excited to announce what promises to be a spectacular show. A fresh new look and sound, a performance that will meet the high standards expected by our OLM community. In addition, the committee is currently seeking new members to join the festivities and help bring this musical celebration to life. The Diocese of Paterson invites you to celebrate your 60+, 50th or 25th wedding anniversary during a special Mass to be offered at the Cathedral of St. John the Baptist in Paterson, NJ. Bishop Sweeney will serve as main celebrant on this joyful occasion to be held Sunday, November 16, 2025 at 3:00pm. Arrangements can be made by contacting your parish office. The registration deadline is Friday, October 17, 2025. You will receive additional information from the Office of Family Life once your registration has been processed. House Call Groceries Program provides an opportunity to help the homebound. Shopping and delivering groceries would help your elderly neighbor and simultaneously offers companionship and support to those that might feel isolated. Friday, August 15TH is a holy day that celebrates the Virgin Mary’s ascension to Heaven, “body and soul,” after “having completed the course of her earthly life.” The Holy Day Mass schedule is as follows: 8:15 am in the chapel and 7:00 pm in the church.
