A sincere thank you to those who contributed to the Annual Christmas Fund, which was established to help those in need locally. Also, a very special thank you to the fund's founding benefactor. Thirty parishioners donated over $15,000, including the matching contribution, which enabled us to help families and organizations that were very much in need this year. Catholic Charities received 185 gift cards, (the goal was 150). Also, a generous knitter donated 10 beautiful hat & scarf sets which will be sent to the Outreach to At-Risk Youth Program, OTARY*. OLM parishioners are truly outstanding. Thank you for your annual support.
*Outreach to At-Risk Youth, an afterschool program providing a safe and supportive environment for Paterson teens, (ages 12-18), where one in four residents live in poverty. The program supports young persons’ social-emotional growth, empowers them to make healthy choices, and to become role models for their peers and community. OTARY, offers an array of enrichment activities, academic support, life-skills training, career development, and mentorship.
The Paterson diocese will once again participate in the March for Life in Washington, D.C., on January 23, 2026. If you would like to attend, the day schedule and transportation cost information are available at www.insidethewalls.org/national-march-for-life or scan the QR code.

The OLM Council Field Agent will speak at all Masses, January 3rd & 4th about what it means to be a Knight and encourage men of the Parish to join our council. He will share the benefits available through the K of C, including life insurance, disability income, long-term care and retirement annuities. If you are a member of the Knights, related to a member or a Catholic man interested in joining the Knights and to learn more about these benefits, please stop by the table after Mass.
A holly, jolly thank you to Santa and Mrs. Claus, the Knights of Columbus, led by Ron Scilla and Jim James, and all those who attended the wonderful Breakfast with Santa last weekend. A great time was had by all, and we hear that EVERYONE is on the Nice List this year!
A Christmas Matching Fund has been established to assist neighbors in need at Christmas time. If you would like to contribute this year please make checks payable to OLM and note “Christmas Fund”. Either mail/drop them at the Parish office or give them to Fr. Steve. A generous OLM parishioner has volunteered to “match” up to $5,000 of what is collected by the Parish. Your prayerful consideration is greatly appreciated.
The Ladies Guild thanks everyone who donated so generously to the Giving Tree program that provides gift cards for the Catholic Family Center in Paterson. You have blessed so many with your contributions!
