The fourth Sunday of Lent is known as Laetare Sunday which means “Rejoice” in anticipation of Easter. Parents that are expecting a child, either biological or through adoption, will receive a blessing and will be presented with a pink flower.
On Wednesday, March 18th join us in praying a Rosary for Life, following the 8:15 am Mass in the chapel. Spend time with Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament. Call Joe - 201-274-6688 for info.
Brian and Cyndy Fuhro, parishioners and a Knight and Dame of the Order of Malta, will be traveling to Lourdes, France on the 38th Annual Lourdes Pilgrimage “Hope Through the Virtue of Union with Mary” from April 28 to May 4, 2025. They have offered to take to Lourdes special intentions that OLM parishioners may have. Your intentions can be handwritten in a sealed envelope and placed in the basket in the narthex. The intensions will be hand delivered to the grotto of Massabielle where the Blessed Mother appeared 18 times before Bernadette Soubirous (now Saint Bernadette), a 14-year-old peasant girl. Thank you and God bless you Brian and Cyndy, safe travels.
There will be no 6 pm Mass on Palm Sunday or Easter Sunday.
Please note that the Parish office will be closed on Good Friday, April 3rd, and Pasquetta (Little Easter), April 6th.
God reveals Himself in different ways. Where can I find Him today in my Lenten journey? We observe practices of prayer, sacrifice and good works. He summons us to come closer. Remove whatever obstacles that get in our way to be with the Lord. I am called to live this Lent in new and deeper ways.
Lenten Reflection: Here I am Lord.
