FIRST FRIDAY ADORATION – November 7, 2025 8:15am Mass followed by Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament ending with Benediction at 5pm.

The Ladies Guild will be coordinating our Giving Tree Program for the Catholic Charities Family & Community Services Center in Paterson. We will again be collecting $25 Gift Cards for children, adults, seniors and veterans. More information to follow in upcoming bulletins and the OLM website.

The Knights would like to thank all the ghosts and goblins who attended the Halloween breakfast last weekend! The proceeds help our local food pantry and women’s shelter.

On December 13, WREATHS ACROSS AMERICA will host the placing of Remembrance Wreaths to honor our fallen heroes. The funds generated will be used to purchase wreaths placed at the gravesites of our local veterans in OLM and local cemeteries. Meal Includes: pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, coffee/tea or juice.

Remember to submit the ALL-SOULS DAY envelopes to memorialize a loved one during the month of November.

Lord God, as the election approaches, we seek to better understand the issues and concerns that confront our city/state/country, and how the Gospel compels us to respond as faithful citizens in our community. We ask for eyes that are free from blindness so that we might see each other as brothers and sisters, one and equal in dignity, especially those who are victims of abuse and violence, deceit and poverty. We ask for ears that will hear the cries of children unborn and those abandoned, men and women oppressed because of race or creed, religion or gender. We ask for minds and hearts that are open to hearing the voice of leaders who will bring us closer to your kingdom. We pray for discernment so that we may choose leaders who hear your Word, live your love, and keep in the ways of your truth as they follow in the steps of Jesus and his Apostles and guide us to your Kingdom of justice and peace. We ask this in the name of your Son, Jesus Christ and through the power of the Holy Spirit. Amen.

Thank you to our OLM parishioners for donating to the service project fundraiser. Your generosity will completely fund all our projects as well as add some additional projects this year. On Sunday, October 19TH a special Mass will be celebrated at St. John’s Cathedral with Bishop Sweeney honoring parishioners throughout the diocese who are exemplary volunteers. This year OLM has nominated Carol Mangani and Felix & Maureen Pizzulli. The Pizzullis’ have been instrumental for the past 62 yrs. in the development of our parish from building our school and church to volunteering in many ministries. Even to this day, Felix can be seen as a faithful usher at 5pm Mass. Carol Mangani has been a devoted volunteer. Beginning with Religious Education, First Saturday Rosary, Evangelization, faith sharing groups, Carmelites and much more. Carol’s deep faith continues to be an inspiration to our community. OLM is extremely grateful to the Pizzulli family and Carol Mangani. May God continue to bless you!

We are currently forming a committee for the Women’s Day of Reflection. Please consider joining our committee which is forming now!
