Heavenly Father, we thank You for the gift of motherhood. Today, we celebrate the loving sacrifice of mothers, both biological and spiritual, who nurture and guide us in Your ways. Bless them with joy, strength, and love to continue their selfless devotion. May they feel deeply appreciated and honored not just today, but every day. Amen.

As you are aware, Michael Pierce has been ill and remains undiagnosed. He currently is on short term disability leave hoping to get to the bottom of this sooner rather than later. Please continue to keep him in your prayers. I appreciate your understanding the suspension of the music ministry during his absence. It is challenging to engage a full-time temporary replacement that would provide a regular and reliable presence at both weekend Masses, weddings, and funerals, and other special events for a currently unknown duration. Come out and see Monty Python‘s Spamalot on Thursday, May 28th at the Barn Theater in Montville NJ. There will be a light buffet at 7 pm, the show begins at 8 PM. Tickets are $40 per person and are on sale now at the circulation desk of the library. This is a Benefit for the Friends of the Kinnelon Library.

AMARACHI FOUNDATION Wear Pink to Celebrate Amarachi’s 16TH Birthday May 5, 2026 To help celebrate her life, legacy, and 16th birthday; Amarachi’s family and friends invite the community to join us in completing 16 Acts of Kindness throughout the month of May! These 16 Acts of Kindness can be big or small, but each one will carry forward the spirit of Amarachi and the impact she had hoped to make. Throughout her life, Amarachi believed deeply in showing up for others with kindness, compassion, and intention. She was particularly concerned with helping the many homeless. The 16 Acts of Kindness can be shared on social media by using #16forAmarachi and tagging @theamarachifoundation
