    • First Friday Adoration

The traditional devotion to the Blessed Sacrament is known as Eucharistic Adoration.  In recent years, fewer and fewer parishioners are availing themselves of this blessed opportunity to draw closer to our Lord Jesus through Adoration.

Adoration begins after the 8:15am Mass on the First Friday of the month and continues throughout the day, ending with Benediction at 5pm.  It’s important that someone is always present in Adoration, which is why sign-ups are necessary. Sign-up books are on the table in the Chapel and in the narthex of the church.  However, if you cannot commit to a certain time, please consider stopping by the Chapel to spend some moments in prayer before Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament and if you can attend Benediction at 5pm.  For more info call Ann Wachter at 973-838-3348.

    • PRAY FOR THE SICK

Father of goodness and love; hear our prayers for the sick members of our community and for all who are in need.  Amid mental and physical suffering may they find consolation in your healing presence.  Show your mercy as you close wounds, cure illness, make broken bodies whole and free deliverance, and so join us in thanking you for all your gifts.  We ask this through the lord Jesus who healed those who believed. Amen

      Ciro’s Lifeline – I’m Asking for Help

This isn’t the kind of message I ever imagined writing. But today, I’m reaching out with a personal plea — and to advocate for organ donation.

Hi, I’m Ciro Giue. I’m a husband to my beautiful wife Jaikish, a father to Matthew, Amelia, and our pup Bailey. I’m also a son, brother, uncle, and friend living with a rare autoimmune liver disease called Primary Sclerosing Cholangitis (PSC).

PSC has no cure. It slowly scars and shuts down the bile ducts in the liver, leading to cancer and liver failure.

One of the greatest risks is bile duct cancer (cholangiocarcinoma) — rare, aggressive, and similar to pancreatic cancer, often diagnosed too late for treatment.

After 14 years, my condition has reached the point where I have only one option:
I urgently need a living liver donor.
I want to keep being here for anniversaries, birthdays, graduations, hugs after long days, and all the small and big moments that make life meaningful.

Here’s the incredible part:  The liver regenerates. A living person can donate a portion, and both livers grow back within months.
If you or someone you know is:
       • 18–60 years old
       • Blood type O-, O+, or A2
       • Healthy and open to learning more…
You could be the hero who gives me more time with the people I love.  My family has been tested — no match due to blood type or age.

Contact the Mount Sinai Liver Transplant Team: (212) 659-8351. Give them my name: Ciro Giue and if you are comfortable, please let MS know that you are a member of Ciro’s church.

Or reach out to me directly
      at ‭(201) 694-3742‬.

Even if you can’t donate, please:
       • Spread the word
       • Help me find a match
      Help me stay here.
      Help me find a lifeline.
      Help me find a hero.

      With deep gratitude,
      Ciro
    • OLM'S Shroud of Turin Exhibit

      TOURS ARE NOW AVAILABLE
How can history inspire our faith? Bishop Kevin Sweeney and Jai Agnish visit Our Lady of the Magnificat in Kinnelon, N.J., for a remote podcast episode. On display in the church narthex is a giant museum-quality photo exhibition of the Shroud of Turin. Tune in to the video version of this episode for the full impact! This week's guest, Father Steven Shadwell, elaborates on how this unique historical experience came to life at his parish. In addition to three life-size photographs of the actual Shroud, the exhibit includes over 40 storyboards depicting various aspects of the history of the Shroud. Call the parish office at 973-838-6838 to reserve a Wednesday night tour slot or to learn more.
