First Friday Adoration
The traditional devotion to the Blessed Sacrament is known as Eucharistic Adoration. In recent years, fewer and fewer parishioners are availing themselves of this blessed opportunity to draw closer to our Lord Jesus through Adoration.
Adoration begins after the 8:15am Mass on the First Friday of the month and continues throughout the day, ending with Benediction at 5pm. It’s important that someone is always present in Adoration, which is why sign-ups are necessary. Sign-up books are on the table in the Chapel and in the narthex of the church. However, if you cannot commit to a certain time, please consider stopping by the Chapel to spend some moments in prayer before Jesus in the Blessed Sacrament and if you can attend Benediction at 5pm. OLM'S Shroud of Turin ExhibitTOURS ARE NOW AVAILABLEHow can history inspire our faith? Bishop Kevin Sweeney and Jai Agnish visit Our Lady of the Magnificat in Kinnelon, N.J., for a remote podcast episode. On display in the church narthex is a giant museum-quality photo exhibition of the Shroud of Turin. Tune in to the video version of this episode for the full impact! This week's guest, Father Steven Shadwell, elaborates on how this unique historical experience came to life at his parish. In addition to three life-size photographs of the actual Shroud, the exhibit includes over 40 storyboards depicting various aspects of the history of the Shroud.
