During Lent there will be two daily Masses: 8:15am Monday to Saturday and 7:00pm evening Mass Monday to Friday in the Chapel. Stations of the Cross will be on Friday after Mass, morning and evening. Confessions are heard every Monday from 7:30 to 8:30pm and Saturday from 4 to 4:45PM.

This daily Mass is added for Lent only but isn’t very well attended. It lasts only 25 minutes and is really enjoyable. You are cordially invited to give it a try. More prayer is part of our Lenten observance.

The OLM Do It For Jesus Program Re-Commitment Weekend is this week at all Masses. We encourage all parishioners to complete and turn in your Commitment Cards to the Church. The Commitment Card contains information on how to plan your increased offertory gift to the church, and asks for your commitment over the next year. If you have any questions regarding this program, or how to give electronically, please contact the parish office.

This week you will receive a brochure detailing the Do It for Jesus Program our parish will be participating in over the next few weeks. This informative brochure is intended to communicate the financial needs of our parish and why we are having a dedicated focus on our parish offertory. Recommitment Sunday for this Program is March 10 and March 11. We encourage all parishioners to spend time in prayer and discussion with your family reflecting on the parish’s needs and your current level of giving. We look forward to seeing all of our parishioners at Mass next weekend for this very important Recommitment Sunday. This is a favorite trick of the Devil during Lent. Don’t let the evil one get away with discouraging you from performing acts of penance during Lent. One little sacrifice a day is a good thing and helps to keep up your spirits.

Confirmation students are also asked to participate and donate at least 3 of the following items to the drive - rice, cereal, soup, canned or bagged beans/lentils, coffee, tea, pasta, peanut butter, jelly, canned vegetables, fruit, oatmeal, breakfast bars, pancake mix and syrup. There will be bins by the school entrance before and after classes on Sun., March 4th and Mon., March 5th.
