On Tuesday, May 2, Msgr. Carroll’s car was broadsided on the driver’s side by someone who ran a red light. While the two doors were demolished and the driver of the other car was taken to the hospital, he was uninjured and was able to climb out of his car on the passenger’s side. Please say a prayer for both drivers.

Saturday, May 13, 2017 is the 100th anniversary of the apparitions of our Blessed Mother at Fatima to Lucia and her two cousins Jacinta and Francisco. Our Lady asked us to find in her heart the door to Christ. Next weekend the Bishop has asked all parishioners of the diocese to pray a prayer of consecration to her Immaculate Heart.

On Friday, April 28, Fr. Lukasz left for Poland to become a Godparent for his new niece. He will return on Friday, May 19th. Please pray for him while he is away.

Msgr. Carroll will perform a wedding for Kerry Henshaw in Destin, FL on May 6, 2017 and will return on May 7th. Please pray for him also. Our “soon to be ordained deacon” Yohan Serrano will be in charge, along with Fr. Ed and Fr. Henry.

On Sat., May 13 at 10:30am in St. Peter’s Church, Parsippany, Yohan Serrano will be ordained a Deacon by Bishop Serratelli. He has only been in the parish a short while because of his status. He was permitted to return to the US for ordination but he must return to Columbia on Tuesday, May 23, to receive a visa as a religious worker (Deacon). Pray he returns by the end of May. Msgr. Carroll cannot attend his ordination because of the 1st Communion of two of his grand nephews. He will be celebrating the 11am Mass with Deacon Yohan on Sun., May 14th.

After the 11am Mass on May 14th, the Knights of Columbus will host a reception for Deacon Yohan Serrano at a cook-out behind the school. All are welcome to attend. Please sign up on the attendance sheet and let us know the number to expect. Thank you.
