Kinnelon Girls Cross Country are the State Sectional Champions with Hannah Revolsky as the Individual State Sectional Champion (she finished first). The Kinnelon Boys XC took 4th place. Both moved on to the State Group Meet.

During the month of November we remember at Mass each day all the souls of the faithful departed whose names are on the envelopes on the podium next to the altar. There are more envelopes on the table in the narthex if you need one.

On Oct., 31, 2016, Pope Francis travelled to Sweden to celebrate with the leaders of the Lutheran Church the Joint Catholic-Lutheran Commemoration of the Reformation in the Cathedral of Lund. Also, they celebrated the 50 years of fruitful ecumenical dialogue between Lutherans and Catholics.

Pray to God for enlightenment before you cast your ballots on Election Day. God Bless America!

On Sunday Nov. 6th, a special Anniversary Mass will be held at St. Peter the Apostle Church. Parishioners to be honored are Jim & Betty Dominico (50th Anniversary) and Tomasz & Marzena Sokolski (25th Anniversary). May God continue to bless your marriage!

Collections will end on Monday, Nov. 7th. Collection boxes will be in the school foyer on the evening of the 7th if you would like to make a Thanksgiving food donation. 13 food baskets will be made and delivered to local families. Other food donations will go to the Fr. English center in Paterson. We are always in need of donations of Stop & Shop, Walmart and Target gift cards. We are very grateful to Paul Schrope, a Boy Scout, who recently stained the wood bridge near the sidewalk, and Mitchell Ginsburg who completed his Eagle project refurbishing the House of Hope. Both young men did a wonderful job! A very special thank you to Monahan Paints, on Rt. 23S, Butler, who generously donated all of the stain, paints and materials.

The Christmas Giving Tree will be up in the narthex of the church the weekend of Nov. 12th & 13th with gift tags for the children at the Catholic Charities Fr. English and Martin DePorres Centers. Gifts are due back by Dec. 4th. Your participation and generosity is much appreciated!
